Photosynthesis
(Voet & Voet Chapter 22)
1). Light reactions: How are the NADPH and ATP produced? Where does the reaction take place? Compare to mitochondria.

2). Dark reactions: How is the CO2 fixed in dark reaction? What is the product of the Calvin Cycle and how can it be used for CHO synthesis?

3). What is the relationship between Light and Dark reactions?

4). Ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase (RuBP carboxylase-oxygenase; rubisco) is the key enzyme for both photosynthesis and photorespiration.

5). What is the significance of C4 cycle?

Practice Problem : Question 9 of Chapter 22 (Voet & Voet p. 661).
